Pluvinage
President and Chief Executive Officer
Vincent brings more than 18 years of experience in
technology business, R&D operations and intellectual property
management to his role as chief executive of IPVALUE Management.
He guides all aspects of the company’s business direction
and strategy.
Prior to IPVALUE, Vincent was Chief Executive Officer
of Preview Systems, a company in the digital rights management arena.
Vincent built the company from its pre-financing stage to a public
corporation listed on the NASDAQ exchange. Under his leadership,
Preview software was licensed by a number of global companies including
Adobe, Real Networks, Matsushita, Sony and Symantec.
In 1987, Vincent spun out the advanced digital processing
technology he had developed at Bell Labs as ReSound Corp. for use
in medical applications. He led ReSound’s R&D team to
develop new technologies, and later expanded his role to president
of international operations, leading the company’s entre into
the European and Asia markets. Vincent was instrumental in building
ReSound to over $120 million in revenue and taking it public. Subsequently,
the company was acquired by GN Great Nordic of Europe. Today, the
ReSound brand is one of the most respected in advanced technology
hearing instruments.
Vincent’s career started at AT&T Bell Laboratories
where he conducted research on a range of digital signal processing
technologies. He received Bell Labs’ prestigious “Exceptional
Contribution Award” for his work on technology that formed
the basis for ReSound.
Vincent holds six patents in the areas of acoustics,
digital signal processing and wireless. He earned his master’s
degree in applied physics engineering from the Universite Catholique
de Louvain in Belgium, and his doctorate degree in bioengineering
from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Vincent currently serves on the board of directors
of several private companies, and is an officer of the Barbary Coast Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.
